CUNY’s Central Office of Student Affairs (COSA) hosted its inaugural CUNY Student Housing and Residence Life banquet on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). The banquet drew residence life professional and student staff (including 90 Resident Assistants from across 8 CUNY campuses) to celebrate their dedicated efforts throughout the academic year. The evening banquet included an award ceremony, certificates of recognition, a keynote speaker – technology and social media expert Mr. Eric Stoller – and a slideshow highlighting the great programming and engagement in the residence halls. Attendees listened to remarks from Frank D. Sanchez, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs; Paulette Dalpes, Deputy to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and David E. Jones, Associate Director for Student Housing and Residence Life. COSA acknowledged all of the hard work and outstanding leadership of the residence life staff and thanked them for an amazing year of creating community and involvement in the residence halls.
